These terms apply to every puppy enrolled at Pawfect Puppy Preschool in Somerset West. You'll be asked to accept them when you complete your application.
All breeds are welcome, provided they meet the criteria below. The breeds listed are examples only, not a complete list. Minimum age: 10 weeks (2½ months).
Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, Staffies, Pit Bulls, etc.
Collies, Spaniels, Dalmatians, Mixed breeds, etc.
Shih Tzu, Yorkies, Dachshunds, etc.
Subject to the maturity of your pup and at the discretion of Pawfect Puppy Preschool staff. This will be communicated timeously so alternative arrangements can be made if necessary.
A few essentials that keep every pup safe and happy.
Puppies may only attend 7 days after their second vaccinations, including the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine. Proof required.
Updated proof to be submitted each time your pup is inoculated per the vaccine card schedule.
Pups to be sterilised by 6 months (or prior to first cycle for females). Pups on heat or male pups showing testosterone-related aggression cannot attend.
Special needs, allergies or medications must be provided in writing. Medication must be clearly labelled with required dosages.
All pups must wear a collar with a name tag.
Only the owner may collect their puppy, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Owners must be honest about their pup's behaviour — including excessive barking, jumping, aggression, or any history of biting or attacking. Aggressive pups may be refused, banned, or expelled with immediate effect.
Written plainly so there are no surprises.
By enrolling your pup, you accept that Pawfect Puppy Preschool, its staff and volunteers will not be held liable for any loss, injury, illness, or damage sustained during participation or services provided at the facility.
Owners are fully responsible for their puppy's behaviour, health, and any damages caused to others. You accept and assume all risks associated with your pup's attendance.
You confirm that Pawfect Puppy Preschool has relied upon your representations in admitting your puppy, and declare that your puppy is in good health and has not displayed aggression, threatening behaviour, or caused injury to any person or dog.
While all reasonable care and precautions are taken, Pawfect Puppy Preschool will not be held responsible — financially or otherwise — for any illness, escape, injury, loss or damage to your puppy, yourself, or your property (including leashes, toys, bedding, etc.) during participation in any services.
Any behavioural, medical or other issues that arise will be managed at the discretion of Pawfect Puppy Preschool staff, in what they determine to be in the best interest of the puppy.
You agree to waive any and all claims you may have against Pawfect Puppy Preschool, its staff, members, employees and volunteers arising from your puppy's participation in daycare and related activities.
You'll be asked to accept these Terms & Conditions in the final step of the application form.
